Check each place name, remove duplicate stops and confirm the device has an internet connection for search and routing.

Frequently asked questions
Why will my Google Maps link not import?
Open the route in Google Maps, use Share to copy the full route link, and paste that link into Roam Reels. Confirm that the link opens normally in a browser and that your device is online. Shortened or place-only links may not contain a complete multi-stop route.
Why is a route stop in the wrong place?
Search results can share similar names. Remove the stop and add it again with the city, region or country included. Check the pin on the map before starting the preview.
Why does the map animation not start?
Confirm that the route contains at least a start and finish, wait for the route line to appear, then try the preview again. If the map does not load, check the network connection and reopen the app.
Why can I not save the video?
In iOS Settings, allow Roam Reels to add media to Photos. Confirm that the device has enough free storage and keep the app open until the export reaches 100%.
What format does Roam Reels export?
Roam Reels exports a 1080p MP4 video in the aspect ratio selected before export, including the vertical 9:16 format used by Reels and Stories.
Where are my saved routes?
Routes are stored locally on the device in the current version. Removing the app may remove saved routes, subject to your iOS backup settings.

- Update to the latest available Roam Reels build.
- Close and reopen the app.
- Confirm the network connection and available device storage.
- Note the exact step where the problem occurred.
- Include a screenshot only if it does not expose private location information.
